Academics

We follow CBSE curriculum from class I to XII.

Evaluation is the most important part of studies.  Evaluation system helps to develop the habit of regular, systematic and methodical work among the students.  Tests are in incentive to hard work and have their diagnostic value both for the teacher and the taught.  They are spread over the whole academic year.

No student will be allowed to miss any Examination/Test without prior consent of the class teacher.  Permission will be granted only in case of valid and genuine reason. Parents will not be allowed to take their wards home after the exam or test is over.  They shall go home only when the school gets over.

However to overcome the phobia of examination, the examination pattern is spread over the whole year in Unit and Cycle tests and Internal Assessment for classes III to VI and Unit Tests, Half Yearly Examination and Final Examination and Internal Assessment for classes VII to XII.

There will be Weekly Tests for Class II.  Students of Class II will be evaluated through their everyday work.  Class Assessment pattern will be followed for Class II. It will help in developing the habit of regular, systematic and methodical work among the students.  To motivate and encourage students to do their best in the examinations and tests, some changes are introduced in Evaluation System.  Marks have been allocated for internal assessment and unit tests.  Similarly to avoid the stress of scoring poor marks.  Grading System on eight point scale has been introduced for classes II to VI.

Any fee-concession or scholarship granted shall be liable to be withdrawn for misconduct, irregular attendance or failure to maintain scholastic standards. The quality, accuracy, neatness, efficiency in the class assignments, class response, performance in oral and written tests, language skills, holiday homework, projects and attendance will be recorded to decide the marks for Internal Assessment.
